About the Author

Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews is a Grammy-nominated and Heinz Award–winning musician who leads his band Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. He lives in New Orleans. Bryan Collier is a renowned illustrator who has won four Caldecott Honors, three Coretta Scott King honors, and six Coretta Scott King Awards. He lives in Marlborough, New York.
